AI automationMember assistant

An AI assistant that answers members from your own pages.

Members ask the same questions every week: when renewal is due, what the conference costs, how to update a listing. An assistant inside the member portal answers them from your association’s own pages and the member’s record, and hands the rest to staff.

What it answers

The questions staff answer every week.

  1. 01

    Membership and renewals

What the membership includes, when it renews, what is owed and how to pay, answered from the member’s own record.

  2. 02

    Events and the conference

Dates, venues, passes, prices, and what the member is already registered for.

  3. 03

    Benefits and policies

From the association’s own pages, bylaws and policy documents, with a link to the page the answer came from.

  4. 04

How to do things in the portal

Update a listing, add a colleague, find an invoice: step by step, in the portal the member is already using.

How it behaves

Helpful, and honest about what it does not know.

  • Answers with a source

Every answer links to the page or record it came from, so a member can check it.

  • Hands over when unsure

If the answer is not in your pages, it says so and passes the question to staff, with the conversation attached.

  • Knows who is asking, and only them

It reads the record of the member it is talking to and nobody else’s. The rule lives in the database.

  • Speaks in your voice

Its tone and the topics it will not touch are set by your staff and approved before it goes live.

  • Reviewed, not left alone

Staff can read conversations, see what members ask most, and fix the page behind any wrong answer.

What it is not

Not a chatbot bolted onto the website.

A chatbot bolted onto the website answers from a copy of your public site and knows nothing about the member it is talking to. This assistant lives inside the portal, reads the same record as your staff, and runs in accounts in your association’s name.

That is also why it can be trusted with a question like “have I paid?”: it is answering from the invoice, not guessing from a web page.

Give members answers, and staff their mornings back.

Start with a three-week audit: every tool mapped, a blueprint and a fixed quote. No sales deck.
